IC has had a licensing agreement and collaboration with ICON in the development and commercialization of C10 for use as an elution compound for vascular stents. IC's proprietary compound addresses multiple problems with the long-term side effects associated with either bare metal or drug-eluting stents. C10 reverses high levels of Wnt5a and PAI1 in atherosclerosis and inflammation models. PAI1 elevations are characteristic of progressive atherosclerosis.

C10 Key Benefits:
1) Lowers abnormally high levels of Wnt5a in vasculature
2) Lowers high serum levels of PAI1
3) Retards or eliminates muscle growth (restenosis)
4) Retards or eliminates inflammation (restenosis)
5) Reduces the formation of Plaque
6) Does not induce endothelial cell fibrosis

These effects have been demonstrated in mouse models of adhesion and inflammation where C10 showed positive results while demonstrating no significant side effects.
